Everyone thought Johnny Depp’s next girlfriend would be his lawyer Camille Vasquez and now it seems Johnny is in a relationship with his lawyer but it’s the other one; Joelle Rich, a lawyer based in London, England. She was part of Depp’s legal team in 2018, when she defended him in the defamation lawsuit against the newspaper The Sun in the United Kingdom.
Johnny Depp and Joelle Rich are dating three months after his defamation trial with his ex-wife, Amber Heard, Us Weekly reported.
The 59-year-old actor is said to have struck up a relationship with lawyer Joelle, 37, after she worked with him on his libel case against The Sun newspaper back in 2018.
“Their chemistry is off the charts. It’s serious between them. They are the real deal,” a source was quoted as saying in Us Weekly.
The information was confirmed by a source close to the new couple to E! News.
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor, who was previously married to “Aquaman” actress Amber Heard, lost his libel case against the British tabloid but won a defamation case against his ex-wife, who claimed that she had claimed to have been a victim of alleged domestic abuse throughout their marriage for a magazine article, in which she claimed that she was married to the actor playing Captain Jack Sparrow.
The insider continued by saying that even though Joelle, who was not involved in his defamation case, had no “professional” obligation to be present for the hearing in June, did so in order to “support” Johnny and assert that the two had been “meeting up” in hotel rooms in the beginning of their relationship.

Due to Heard’s charges at the time, the British tabloid called Depp a “wife beater,” a claim Depp refuted. However, Johnny’s defamation complaint against the newspaper was unsuccessful following a two-year trial.
Rich was no longer a member of the defense team in the earlier this year lawsuit, which the actor ultimately won, since Johnny changed his legal team for the trial in the United States against his ex-wife.
Rich appeared in court multiple times in Fairfax, Virginia during Depp’s trial despite not being involved in the legal proceedings.

Images of Heard with Camille Vasquez, who defended Johnny in the case, surfaced during Heard’s libel trial, sparking rumors that the two were romantically involved. The victorious litigation attorney, however, categorically refuted the rumors and said that the Internet and the media had produced a “disappointing” and “sexist” story.
“I assume it comes with the territory of being a lady simply doing her job.” Vasquez told People magazine.
