ISLAMABAD: The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), a department linked to the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, is set to export about 100 female nurses to a health firm in Malaysia in response to the country’s spike in need for healthcare personnel.
An official told APP Thursday that the demand of female nursing staff in Malaysia was increasing with the passage of time due to the high qualified and expert staff of health already working in the different hospitals of Malaysia.
He informed that 100 nurses were required for ICU with the diploma in nursing or Bachelor of science in nursing 16 or post RN from recognised institution.
The candidate should have registration from the Nursing Council and a minimum of 3 years related working experience in the hospital setting. He said specialised post-basic training in OT/ICU and pediatric would be preferred, and age not more than 45 years. The basic monthly salary would be RM3,000-RM4,500.
Qualifications
- Educational Requirements: Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Professional Registration: Must be registered with the Nursing Council.
- Work Experience: At least three years of related work experience in a hospital setting.
Salary and Benefits
- Basic Monthly Salary: RM3,000 – RM4,500.
Allowances:
- General Nursing Allowance.
- Specialized Allowance for ICU and OT.
- Degree Allowance.
