A new weather forecast has been released for the port city of Karachi during the Eid-ul-Adha holidays.
According to meteorologist Owais Haider, Karachi can expect drizzle on June 13 (Thursday). However, he predicts that the overall weather will remain hot and humid during the Eid festivities.
Haider also mentioned that the monsoon season is likely to begin in Karachi at the end of June or the start of July, and this rainy period is expected to last until August.
Despite the anticipated heat and humidity, Haider assured that Karachi would not face a heatwave. Nevertheless, the high humidity levels could make the temperature feel even hotter. During the daytime on Eid, humidity levels are expected to rise to 50-60%, and at night, they could climb to 80-90%.
Today (Monday), the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) recorded a temperature of 36 degrees Celsius in Karachi. The temperature is expected to increase slightly to 37 degrees Celsius during the daytime on June 10.
