Pak-Africa trade development conference to start from today

DAVOS: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that it was our responsibility to highlight Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK) issue which Prime Minister Imran Khan did.
In his statement, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Pakistan has been firmly trying to present its perspective to the world that there would be negative impacts over the regional economy if any conflict erupts in Kashmir or South Asia.
Earlier on Wednesday, the foreign minister urged the United Kingdom to play its role in resolving the Kashmir issue.
Qureshi telephoned British Foreign Secretary Rt. Hon. Dominic Raab and highlighted the violations of human rights in IoK.
The Foreign Minister also briefed the UK’s Foreign Secretary about the rising security situation in the region and shared Pakistan’s concern with regard to the latest developments in the middle east.
