WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump said Monday it is high time to start trade talks with the European Union which he said places extraordinary restrictions on US products.
Following a number of trade agreements with Canada, Mexico, and Japan, and a stage-one agreement with China, Trump said, “The next step might be Germany, where we should be negotiating very seriously about them,” adding he said “Europe has treated us very unfairly,” after a meeting with US state governors at the White House.
