ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police filed false First Information Report (FIR) of kidnapping for ransom against a victim and imposed seven provisions.
According to details, Islamabad police lodged false allegations on a victim, named Muhammad Qasim for kidnapping a girl and jailed him.
Muhammad Qasim said in statement that a girl was missing for two months earlier and CCTV was not working due to the load shedding.
He said that he was named in the false report and after some days the girl was recovered from the underpass and medical reports cleared the girl and termed her healthy.
He claimed that Police took him to the station and tortured him and forced him to name his mother as accused in this kidnapping. His mother won the municipal election as Lady Councilor.
Muhammad Qasim said that police were informed about all the facts in kidnapping but the SHO and his team filed false FIR against him and termed him as the accused in kidnapping the girl.
The victim appealed to the IG Islamabad and Interior Minister to reopen his case and to conduct a new inquiry.
