Comedian turned host Tabish Hashmi, who is currently hosting Geo TV’s popular show ‘Hansna Mana Hai’, has become a target on social media because of its conversational format which usually represents double-meaning jokes.
For the audience, ‘Hansna Mana Hai’ has become inappropriate as a TV show after a recent video clip from the show has been making rounds on social media in which Tabish can be seen showing an old picture to the guest and singer Gohar Mumtaz with Atif Aslam.
Things started to get a bit messy when Tabish’s narration of the picture seemed too inappropriate for television viewers. In the picture, Atif Aslam and Goher Mumtaz could be seen wearing and posing in the same shirt.
As soon as the picture got viral, viewers protested against the content of the show. For a few, Tabish Hashmi utters double-meaning jokes and it happens frequently in the show which makes it uncomfortable to watch with family.

One social media user said, “Tabish Hashmi has come from Canada, he’s liberal, and speaking such language is quite normal for him and now he’s normalizing it in Pakistan.”
Another one wrote, “This show can’t be watched with family and it should come with PG 18+ disclaimer.” Many viewers in general were in favour of this show being banned by the Pemra.
