ISLAMABAD: The inflation rate has decreased by 0.26 percent to 16.97 percent after three weeks.
Recently, the Bureau of Statistics has released a weekly report on inflation, according to which inflation has come down after three consecutive weeks and the overall rate of inflation has come down to 16.97 percent in one week.
According to a report released by the Bureau of Statistics, prices of five essential commodities have come down in recent weeks. The price of a 20 kg bag of flour decreased by an average of Rs 174.53 per kg, chicken by Rs 15.5 per kg, and garlic by Rs 9.37 per kg.
According to the report, the prices of 27 essential commodities have gone up in recent weeks, with potato prices rising by Rs 3.15 paise, tomatoes by Rs 4.48 paise, onions by Rs 2.29 paise, and sugar by 71 paise per kg.
According to the data, milk became costlier by Rs4.17, yogurt by Rs3.26 per kg, and eggs by Rs9.71 per dozen. According to the data, prices of pulses rose by Rs 4.54 per kg, dal mash by Rs 3.77 per kg, ghee by Rs 4.74 per kg, and mustard oil by Rs 19.63 per kg, while prices of 19 essential commodities remained stable.
