Aminul Islam, a member of the Indian state of Assam, has been arrested for questioning the Indian government’s narrative about the recent horrific attack in Pahalgam in Occupied Kashmir.
Aminul Islam was taken into custody for calling the recent attack in the Pahalgam area of occupied Kashmir a conspiracy by the Indian government, indicating a “false flag operation”, Indian media reported on Friday.
At a rally on April 23, Islam suggested that the Pahalgam attack on April 22, along with the 2019 Pulwama bombing, might have been orchestrated to serve political agendas, especially in the context of upcoming elections.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has reportedly ordered the arrest of Aminul Islam, a member of the All India United Democratic Front.
Biswa Sarma said that those who support Pakistan will not be spared and this matter will be taken to its logical conclusion.
