Indian Cricket Board decides to send its team for Asian Games 2023

MUMBAI: The Indian Cricket Board has decided to send a cricket team for the Asian Games, India will participate in the men’s and women’s events of the Asian Games.

According to Indian media reports, India’s main cricket team will make its debut in the Asian Games. The match competitions in the Asian Games will be in T20 format.

The dates of the Asian Games and the Cricket World Cup clash and no star cricketers will be included in any of the teams in the Asian Games. Two teams from Asian countries participating in the World Cup will be simultaneously in action in international cricket.

It should be remembered that the Asian Games are scheduled in China from September 23 to October 8, while the ICC Cricket World Cup will be played from October 5 to November 19.
