LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz has said the country is going through a difficult patch but we have to move forward. We will tell truth to the people. The former ruler Imran Khan cheated the nation by keeping petroleum prices low.
Addressing the workers in Lahore, Hamza Shahbaz said oil prices have come down in the international market and soon the Prime Minister will give good news to the nation. We will win the by-elections on July 17 and the country will once again be on the path to development.
Meanwhile, regarding Eid, Hamza Shahbaz said that the pleasure of Allah Almighty is obtained only by sharing the joys with helpless orphans and serving human beings.
He further said, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, rich should share their happiness with the poor. Eid-ul-Adha teaches us self-sacrifice.
“To ease the pain of suffering humanity, helping the oppressed is the true meaning of ‘Qurbani’,” Hamza was quoted as saying.
He further said that he appealed to the people to cooperate in keeping their streets and bazaars clean. We pray to Allah Almighty for the security, prosperity, stability of Pakistan and alleviation of the sufferings of the people.
