LAHORE: Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has agreed to be a part of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) investigation on May 23 instead of May 22.
According to the details, the National Accountability Bureau has sent a notice to Imran Khan to appear on May 22.
In a written reply to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Imran Khan requested to provide a copy of the inquiry report or a lawyer. In his letter, Imran Khan said that the reply to the notice was faxed on May 16, but may not be available on May 22.
In the letter, Imran Khan said that after the arrest, the inquiry report of NAB remained in the police lines. “I request that the inquiry report be provided to my legal team at Zaman Park or Islamabad. Gohar Ali Khan will brief me on important points,” Khan said.
Imran Khan said that NAB Rawalpindi called me for an investigation on May 16. “I will come to Islamabad on May 23 with several bail applications. After leaving the courts by 11 o’clock on the day, I can join the investigation at the Karnib office,” he said.
