Illegal contracts: AC fixes Jan 13 for Yousaf Raza Gillani’s case

ISLAMABAD: Accountability court has fixed the date 13th January for former premier Yousaf Raza Gillani in the illegal advertisement contracts case.
Judge Azam Khan in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) during the proceedings, directed Yousaf Raza Gillani to appear in the next hearing at any cost.

Yousaf Raza Gillani has been booked in the corruption reference.
According to the NAB, Gillani had misused his position to illegally grant an advertising contract, inflicting a loss of Rs129.07 million to the national exchequer.

Along with Gillani,  former secretary of Information Technology Farooq Awan, ex-press information officer (PIO) Muhammad Saleem, former Universal Service Fund secretary Syed Hasan Sheikh and other individuals are nominated in the same case.
