SUKKUR: Sindh High Court Sukkur Bench on Wednesday accepted the appeal of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and revoked bail to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Shah granted earlier by an accountability court.
As per details, NAB had challenged the judgment of the accountability court. NAB prosecutor told the court and Khursheed Shah and other 18 accused were facing reference of a fraud of Rs1.23bn and cases against them are under trial in an accountability court.
Earlier, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has mistakenly summoned deceased brother of Khursheed Shah, Ali Nawaz Shah.
The NAB Sukkur summoned deceased Ali Nawaz Shah who passed away eight years ago in the case related to the Shah Spinning Mills Limited.
The ailing Khursheed Shah, who has been under treatment at the NICVD has also been called for the investigation by the NAB in the same case. A case worth Rs 300 million fraud was filed against Shah by the NAB.
Shah was born on 20 April 1952. He completed his education from Government Islamia Science College, Sukkur. He received his master’s degree in History in 1974 and his LLB in 1978, both from Islamia College, Sukkur. Shah is a Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader.
