Comedian Tabish Hashmi, who is a popular Pakistani stand-up comedian turned host, has finally revealed the reason behind moving back to Pakistan from Canada.
The comedian who gained prominence through his YouTube show ‘To Be Honest’, is now hosting a successful TV show ‘Hansna Mana Hai’. In an interview on Masarrat Misbah’s podcast, he revealed the reason behind leaving Canada. Yes, most of you might not know but before entering the media industry, he had a high-profile job in Canada.
Talking about it, Tabish Hashmi said, “The situation in Pakistan is bad but the situation for me was good after the opportunity I was getting. So, I got an amazing opportunity in Pakistan which is why I moved back to Pakistan.”
“You can easily live in Pakistan if you are making a lot of money. I was getting handsome pay and air time on national TV,” he said by adding, “So, it was worth it, you can enjoy all the luxuries of life in Pakistan if you have money.”
According to him, his family and kids are living a good life here in Pakistan. Moreover, talking about absorbing the different cultures, he said that he has developed the concept of acceptance in his children along with the religious guidance.
