Recently Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced a relief package for the poor families to secure them from the current inflation and economic crises.
Among many things, the prime minister also announced to provide Rs. 2000 to the needy families but how? The prime minister announced a relief package of Rs. 2000 per month for 14 million families.
The PM clarified that the stipend will be other than the stipend underprivileged families receive under Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).
Through the relief package, a list of eligible applicants is received. The authorities then with the help of National Database Registered Authority (Nadra) confirm the category of eligible applicants under the government stipulated criteria.
According to the government stipulated criteria, the applicant must not be government servants or spouses of government servants and they should not have a car and motorbike and no record of having travelled abroad.
In the next stage, these applicants’ data would be put in a computer having the bigger data to confirm the veracity of these applicants’ financial status. Once the applicants are cleared, they will receive an SMS for collection of the money from the designated banks.
