Crusteez Donut Shop in Islamabad has seen a surge in business following a viral video involving an employee allegedly verbally abusing the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Qazi Faez Isa.
The video, which surfaced on social media on September 26, reportedly shows the Chief Justice, along with his wife and daughter, buying pastries at Crusteez Donuts. In the footage, an employee is heard asking the Justice, “Are you Faez Isa?” When Isa confirms his identity, the worker responds with an insult, saying, “Lanat ho Ap Pe” (Damn you). The Justice’s daughter can also be heard repeating the employee’s question.

Following the incident, rumors spread that the bakery had been shut down in connection with the altercation. However, Farhan Ahmed, Assistant Commissioner of Islamabad, clarified that the F6 branch of Crusteez Donuts had been sealed on September 11 due to dengue prevention violations, unrelated to the viral incident.
Despite the controversy, Crusteez Donuts has experienced a boom in customers. Rather than being hurt by the scandal, the shop has gained support, with people flocking to buy their products and praising the donuts online.
