In a strange turn of events, a woman in the Punjabi city of Narowal has been charged with setting her husband’s first wife’s bedroom on fire.
According to the husband’s complaint, the second wife also attacked the first wife and fled with some belongings. The incident took place in the Sankhtra district, where the second wife allegedly doused the first wife’s room with gasoline and set it ablaze, destroying several household items.
The man revealed that he had married his second wife in a love marriage just a month and a half ago.
Tensions arose between his two wives, leading to the altercation. A case has been filed based on the husband’s complaint, and while locals managed to extinguish the fire, police have now launched an investigation into the incident.
