MM News team visited the setup of Dilpasand Kathyawari Chholay located at a road in Shah Faisal Colony 3 to bring you details about this testy dish.
Owner of the Dilpasand Kathyawari Chholay, Musharaf told MM News that he uses pure ingredients while making the dish which is why it test is good and people like it.
He said that the main ingredients of the dish are peas and gram and he uses pure gram and peas.
To a question, he said that his Kathyawari Chholay is very cheap and everyone can afford it. “You can buy a bowl for 20 rupees too,” he added. He said that people eat his Kathyawari Chholay for breakfast with Parata and also for lunch with bread.
Ashraf said that he also sells bread at Rs 20 so laborers can eat meals at very low prices. “Two persons can have a full lunch only in Rs100, he said.
To a question, he said that he adds spices to the dish as a personal choice. “Some people like more spicy and some less spicy.”
Ashraf said that he has been selling this dish for 16 years but did not increase the rate because people all already facing high inflation.
