President Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has demanded the removal of Sindh government spokesman Barrister Murtaza Wahab as administrator of Karachi and suggested appointing a non-political person as administrator.

Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi said that the Sindh government was supporting the tanker mafia. In many areas, water comes after 1 to 2 months and in a few areas, water comes after 15 days, he said.

Naeem-ur-Rehman demanded the establishment of a fair water system and said that the K4 project of 650 million gallons must be completed. The PPP is also present in the federation and now it cannot be asked to talk to the federation.

He said that the Sindh government had set up cranes on the canals and said that the work was done. “This is a lie and deception. Karachi has a chance on July 24. The mayor of Jamaat-e-Islami will work beyond his authority in Karachi. He will fight for his authority,” he said.
