ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has once again clarified that there was no other man with the daughter of the Afghan ambassador in a taxi so this is not a case of kidnapping.

Talking to media on Tuesday, he said, “We have seen more than 700 hours of footage of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. After checking more than 200 taxis, we have reached these four taxis and their owners. However, it has been proven that the girl has left herself.” However, he said that a case has been filed and the state of Pakistan will fight this case.

Sheikh Rashid said that the government of Pakistan will not back down from this case even though there is a big difference between their request and our investigation, he said. “No man was sitting in any taxi and according to our investigation, this is not a case of kidnapping,” he said.
