ISLAMABAD: The federal government has postponed the delivery of the second batch of coronavirus vaccine to Pakistan, taking into account the availability of pre-existing vaccines.
According to details, the delivery of the second batch of coronavirus vaccine was delayed to all the provinces and Islamabad. As per the officials, 190,000 doses of the virus vaccine were given to Islamabad and the provinces for frontline health workers two weeks ago.
Federal officials said that as of last night, only 60,000 front-line health workers across the country had received the synovial form vaccine. So far, only 100,000 out of 492,000 front-line health workers have registered for the coronavirus vaccination, according to officials. Out of 83,000 doses given to Sindh, only 35,000 doses have been used so far while 70,000 doses were given to Punjab.
