LAHORE: The government has decided to provide modern facilities to the people in the villages as well as in the cities with the aim of stopping the rapid migration of the population from the villages to the cities.
According to the details, due to employment, modern style of living and other facilities in the big cities of the country including Karachi, people living in the villages come to live in the cities in large numbers every year, which has increased the problems of the cities.
Other major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Quetta have a much larger population than villages. Seeing this situation, the caretaker government of Punjab has decided to start the program of Village Chamkeinge in the villages.
The caretaker government of Punjab led by Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi says that basic facilities will be provided to the people in the villages at their doorsteps. Be it the delivery of certificates for birth and death or registration of marriage and divorce, people will not have to go far from their homes.
