Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Monday, reversing losses from the previous sessions, as the price of one tola rose by Rs7,800 to reach Rs350,000 in the local market, according to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 10 grams of gold also witnessed a notable increase, climbing by Rs6,687 to settle at Rs300,068.
On Saturday, the price of gold had dipped to Rs342,200 per tola, marking a decrease of Rs2,300.
In line with domestic trends, international gold prices also moved upward. The global rate rose by $76 during the day to reach $3,316 per ounce, including a $20 premium, as reported by APGJSA.
Silver prices followed a similar trajectory, with the rate per tola increasing by Rs43 to reach Rs3,425.
