Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed massive surge on Wednesday, mirroring the upward trend in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold increased by Rs10,000 per tola to settle at Rs437,936.
The price of 10-gram gold also gained Rs8,573, bringing it up to Rs375,459.

On Tuesday, gold prices dropped by Rs500 per tola to close at Rs427,936.
In the international market, gold prices gained $100 per ounce, with the global rate standing at $4,155 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also increased by Rs273 to close at Rs6,624.
