KARACHI: After two consecutive sessions of sharp increases, gold and silver prices in Pakistan recorded a very slight decline today, offering minimal relief to buyers.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24‑karat gold per tola slipped Rs. 400 to Rs. 493,662, while 10 grams of 24‑karat gold fell Rs. 343 to Rs. 423,235. The price of 22‑karat gold per 10 grams also eased Rs. 314 to Rs. 387,979.

Silver followed the same trend, with 24‑karat silver per tola down Rs12 to Rs8,513, and 10 grams of silver declining Rs. 10 to Rs. 7,298.

On the international market, gold edged lower by $4 to $4,713 per ounce, while silver dipped $0.12 to $80.29 per ounce.

Market experts describe today’s movement as a “very slight relief” for consumers, noting that volatility remains high and prices could swing again depending on global currency and bullion trends. For households and wedding buyers, the marginal drop offers only limited respite after the recent surge.
