Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has stated that a tax-free budget is being introduced in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the provincial government is prioritizing public welfare projects.
In a statement regarding the budget, Ali Amin stated that, on the instructions of the PTI founder, priority has been given to public welfare projects in the budget. Funds have been allocated for industry, health, education, tourism, and digitalization.
Ali Amin Gandapur stated that funds have also been allocated for work on the Peshawar to Dera Ismail Khan Motorway. The uplift canals project is part of the budget, which will prove to be a game changer for the entire country, as it will irrigate thousands of acres of barren land. Funds have also been allocated for small and large dams in the budget.
He said that work is underway on the transmission line, through which electricity will be provided to industrialists at half the price. Interest-free loans will be given to the public to help them become self-employed. An education emergency will be declared in the province to further raise the quality of education.
In addition, another special assistant has been added to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet. PTI leader Muhammad Asim Khan has been appointed as the Chief Minister’s special assistant.
Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has signed the summary of the appointment. The number of special assistants in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet has now reached 13.
