Former Governor of Punjab, Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa, has passed away in Lahore.
According to his family, Khosa had been under treatment at a hospital in Lahore for some time. He was 90 years old.
Zulfiqar Khosa was first elected as a member of the Punjab Assembly in 1962. He spent most of his political career with the Pakistan Muslim League.

He held several key positions over the years, including provincial minister, advisor, senator, and Governor of Punjab. Ahead of the 2018 elections, he joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
During Nawaz Sharif’s period of exile, Khosa also served as the president of Pakistan Muslim League (N) in Punjab.
