ISLAMABAD: A young woman reportedly the daughter of a former Pakistani diplomat was killed by a male friend, police said.
According to report, the incident took place in the upscale Sector F-7/4. The victim was identified as Noor Mukadam, aged 27, daughter of Shaukat Mukadam. Police said she was beheaded after being shot at while another person was also injured in the incident.
A friend of the girl had been arrested over his alleged involvement in the murder. The alleged killer has been identified as Zahid Jaffar and is the son of a leading businessman.
The police said one more person was injured in the event that took place at Jaffar’s residence where Mukadam went for a visit. Police said that Jaffar was heavily intoxicated at that time. He was taken into custody after police received reports about the incident.
