LAHORE: National cricket team and Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam has said that former cricketers have their own opinions, the criticism continues and it is not possible that everyone speaks in your favour.
Talking to a private TV channel, Babar Azam said, “I try to take things positively, the more I take them positively, the more my confidence increases, I neither comment on criticism nor argue, and this is not even mine.”
He said that players who criticize have their own opinion, and everyone has their own mindset. “I have my own mindset, I also try to learn with time, things have changed and accelerated, that’s it,” he said.
“Go by, you can’t perform 100 percent every day, it’s just how you learn,” he added. Regarding PSL, the captain said that the journey is going on with Peshawar Zalmi this season which is going well, due to some mistakes some of our matches did not go well, but we have tried to control the mistakes.
Regarding the new team, he said that we are professional cricketers, and the sooner we join another team, the better. Darren Sammy is an experienced cricketer, who has captained, there is a lot to learn from him.
Apart from this, regarding the new bowlers coming in PSL, Babar Azam said that the young bowlers who are coming including Ihsanullah are good for Pakistan, but these young players are as good as they will play.
