LAHORE: The forensic report of the phone of Naveed shooter, prime accused involved in the November 3 assassination attempt on PTI Chairman Imran Khan during his long march in Wazirabad, has surfaced with startling revelations.

The forensic report, a copy of which is available with MM News, shows that two Sims of different telephone companies have been recovered from his phone, and in one of his WhatsApp groups, a mobile number was saved under Ali Raza’s name.

The report shows record of 138 phone numbers and 1,869 phone calls, while notably, records of 499 of 1,869 calls containing conversations had been extracted; which were handed over to the joint investigation team (JIT) probing Wazirabad attack.

Moreover, 337 SMS, 1,956 images and 212 videos had also been recovered from the internal data of Naveed’s mobile.

MM News has learnt that the authorities have made a DVD of all the audio and video recordings retrieved from accused Naveed’s phone and sent to the JIT.
