Middle Eastern currencies, including the Kuwaiti Dinar (selling: 916.40) and Omani Riyal (selling: 737.26), remain the strongest in the open market due to their high intrinsic value.

Meanwhile, the Japanese Yen continues to be the most affordable major currency, trading at 1.84 in the interbank session.

As the day progresses, market participants will be keeping a close eye on global oil prices and any further updates on external debt repayments, which could influence the rupee’s closing position for the week.
