BEIJING: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on the sidelines of his official visit to China met his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi during which Pak-China bilateral relations were discussed.
In a message on the social networking site Twitter, the foreign minister said that the presence of the Foreign Ministers of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries in the meeting was welcome.

In a tweet, the foreign minister shared photos of the meeting with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi and praised the hospitality of the Chinese State Council and his counterpart Yi.
In a tweet, FM Mahmood Qureshi said that the continuous efforts of the leaders of the region are important for the promotion of lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan. The foreign minister during his meeting with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi discussed Pak-China relations, bilateral cooperation, and other issues of mutual interest.

It should be noted that the Pak-China friendship is valued in the international community. Both countries are taking steps on the Pak-China Economic Corridor Project (CPEC).
