FM Qureshi calls for unity to defeat coronavirus

ISLAMABAD: On the occasion of Pakistan Day, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said the nation should join hands to effectively counter the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
Foreign Minister in his message said the Pakistani nation should also not forget our eight million brothers and sisters overwhelmed by the Indian occupation soldiers in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Qureshi said the people of the Jammu and Kashmir are suffering inconceivable hardship for raising the slogan of independence.

Foreign Minister said Pakistan will continue to stand by its Kashmiri brethren till they get their right to self-determination.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that Shah Mahmood Qureshi telephoned foreign ministers of several countries to discuss the spreading situation of coronavirus across the globe.

FM Qureshi called the Foreign Ministers of Germany, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Iran and appreciated them of the current situation developing due to the coronavirus in Pakistan and also heard their take on their country’s situation.
All dignitaries agreed to boost mutual cooperation to battle coronavirus and make sure communal efforts to defeat the diseases.
