BAGHDAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has laid the foundation stone of the new Pakistani embassy in Baghdad.
Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister also accompanied Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the foundation stone laying ceremony.
Pakistani Ambassador to Iraq Ahmad Amjad Ali and Iraqi Ambassador to Pakistan Hamid Abbas Lafta also participated in the event.

On this occasion, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the construction of the Pakistan Embassy Complex in Baghdad is very welcome.

It should be noted that earlier the Chairman of the People’s Party and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that nations who forget their martyrs have no one to take their names in history.
Zardari, in his video message on May 25 on the occasion of Martyrs Day, said that every patriotic Pakistani considers it his duty to love those who were martyred in the love of their soil.
