RAWALPINDI: In-form Pakistani batsmen Babar Azam and Shan Masood centuries put Pakistan in a dominating position against Bangladesh on second day of the first test at Pindi Stadium.
Pakistan scored 342 runs for 3 wickets at stumps, Babar Azam remained not out on 147 runs along with Asad Shafiq who was on 60. Shan Masood got bowled on 100 runs. Pakistan was leading from 109 runs.
Azhar Ali once again failed to score big. Bangladesh bowler Abu Jayed picked two wickets and Taijul Islam took 1 wicket.
Earlier on day one, Bangladesh bowled out for 233 runs at stumps on day one. Shaheen Shah displayed brilliant bowling, as he took 4 wickets for 53 runs whereas Muhammad Abbas picked two wickets for 19 runs.
Haris Sohail claimed two wickets for 11 runs and Naseem Shah took 1 wicket. Yasir Shah gave away 83 runs without a wicket.
