KARACHI: Schools in Sindh have been closed due to coronavirus while federal and private schools have united against the decision of the provincial government.
According to details, the issue of opening schools across Sindh, including Karachi, has become more complicated. The Sindh government and private school owners came face to face over the issue.
The provincial government has announced a re-closure of the school while Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood has said that the Sindh government should follow the advice of the NCOC. He said that we are trying to keep the schools open while education has already been severely damaged due to coronavirus.
According to the statement of the Sindh government, the rate of coronavirus cases is high in the province. Yesterday, Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah said that keeping the school closed till the second order does not mean reopening it after one year.
The Sindh Education Minister said that the decision to close the school was taken due to incomplete vaccination. Schools that have been vaccinated will reopen on August 30.

Earlier, the All Sadh Private Schools Association announced to teach children on the streets from August 23 against the decision of the Sindh government.
A meeting of the Private Schools Association, chaired by Syed Tariq Shah, demanded the reopening of schools from Monday. The participants agreed on the decision to teach on the streets.
