Fawad Chaudhry suggests merger between FIA and NAB

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Saturday suggested a new entity to be integrated between the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

Fawad Chaudhry in a tweet said, “Countries usually have only one premier investigation agency at federal level USA has FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) India has CBI (Central Burea of Investigation)“

Fawad Chaudhary further said: “We need to merge FIA (Federal Investigation Agency) and NAB ( National Accountability Burea) but opposition and Govt must talk on how to ensure the confidence of working of such agency.”

In a tweet, Fawad Chaudhry congratulated Justice Gulzar Ahmed and wrote, “Justice Gulzar Ahmed took the oath at that time when there is bitterness in the environment.”
