A school in Faisalabad reportedly detained children due to unpaid fees. The alleged incident occurred at Madina Public School on Saturday.
As per a video shared by Blogger Nasim Khaira (@Naseem_khera) on X (formerly known as Twitter), the father claimed that Madina Public School in Faisalabad had detained his two daughters over unpaid fees. The video shows two girls seated in a room.
Subsequently, Faisalabad Police said that upon receiving the information, officers arrived at the scene. However, the father informed them that he had reached an agreement with the school and would not pursue charges.
It is worth noting that Pakistani private schools are often criticized for employing such tactics. Harassing children over unpaid fees appears to be a common practice among many private schools. This harassment may involve calling out fee defaulters during lessons, announcing their names during school assemblies, and issuing warning notes in diaries.
