LAHORE: An arrested Indian citizen has filed a bail petition in the Lahore High Court today.
Indian citizen, Mohammad Bilal aka Panjum Tiwari, was earlier arrested from Gujranwala for owing a fake Pakistan- Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
Petitioner Panjum Tiwari in his petition stated that he was not involved in any illicit activities and therefore he should be released on bail.
The accused was living in Pakistan for a decade. He originally belongs to the Indian city of Banaras.
He entered Pakistan with the help of his Pakistani friend Kamran, who helped in getting a fake CNIC and settled him in Gujranwala. The accused had also married Kamran’s sister.
