ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to PM on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was removing all barriers in the way of providing relief to the general public.
In a series of tweets, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said the prime minister Imran Khan has fulfilled the promise of reforms in civil services as promised in the manifesto of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf.
Awan said that the service to the political families would not be the standard of sustainable development now. She said that the promotion of government officers was now linked to their performance and public relief. She said the reforms in Civil Service would prove a milestone in improving its performance as a 50-year-old system had become obsolete.
وزیراعظم عمران خان نے پاکستان تحریک انصاف کے منشور کے تحت سول سروسز میں اصلاحات لانےکا وعدہ پورا کر دیا۔ افسر شاہی کے اندر جزا اور سزا کا نظام لانے کا قوم سے کیا ہوا عہد پایہ تکمیل تک پہنچا ہے۔جو پرفارم کر ے گا اس کو میرٹ کے تحت پروموٹ کریں گے اور مکمل سپورٹ دیں گے۔

ترقی کا معیار اب محنت،صلاحیت، عوامی خدمت اور عوام کے مسائل کے حل سے جوڑ دیا گیاہے۔ افسران کی ترقی اب ان کی کارکردگی اور عوامی ریلیف سے منسلک ہے۔وزیراعظم عمران خان عوام کے ریلیف کی راہ میں حائل تمام رکاوٹیں دور کر رہے ہیں۔افسران کو اب کارکردگی کی بنا پر ترقی ملے گی۔

وزیراعظم عمران خان نے پاکستان تحریک انصاف کے منشور کے تحت سول سروسز میں اصلاحات لانےکا وعدہ پورا کر دیا۔ افسر شاہی کے اندر جزا اور سزا کا نظام لانے کا قوم سے کیا ہوا عہد پایہ تکمیل تک پہنچا ہے۔جو پرفارم کر ے گا اس کو میرٹ کے تحت پروموٹ کریں گے اور مکمل سپورٹ دیں گے۔

پروموشن میں جانے سے پہلے ان کی کارکردگی کا جائزہ لیا جائے گا۔20سال سروس کا ایک بنچ مارک بنایا گیا ہے ،اس عرصہ کے بعد سرکاری ملازم کی کارکردگی کا جائزہ لیاجائے گا، مستعد سول سرونٹس ترقی پا سکیں گے۔سول سرونٹس ایکٹ 1973ءکے سیکشن 13کے تحت یہ تبدیلیاں کی گئیں ہیں۔

Dr Firdous said this change would encourage capable officers and discourage the inefficient. She said that in future promotion of officers would be done by on merit and not by serving the interests of any political family as was the tradition in the past. She said that in the future, criteria for promotion would be hard work, capabilities and resolution of people’s problems.
She said that prime minister has taken steps to remove all hurdles in providing relief to the masses. She said that now the officers would get promotions on the basis of performance. She said that these changes were brought in Section 13 of Civil Services Act 1973.
