LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has said that every political party has the right to run its election campaign.

Talking to media here on Sunday after filing a petition in the office of provincial election commission, PTI leader Aslam Iqbal said once the election schedule was announced, no party could be barred from running election campaign. He said Pakistan’s biggest political party wasn’t being allowed to start election activities.

He said the caretaker set up claimed that PTI worker Ali Bilal aka Zille Shah died in accident, but it failed to clarify as to why FIR of murder was registered against party leader.
Aslam Iqbal said the post mortem report of Zille Shah carried horrible details. He questioned that the government found CCTV footage from camera installed outside the hospital, but couldn’t find any other footage of the alleged accident.

Speaking on this occasion, Dr Yasmin Rashid alleged that the government had plan to unleash reign of tyranny yet again. She said she had talked to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and apprised them of the situation.
