MOSCOW: Russia has criticized the European Union countries and said that if it has its own interests, Europe remembers European values and human rights.
According to details, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Sergeyevich Peskov strongly criticized the West’s silence on Ukraine’s attacks on Russia’s border region of Belgorod, saying that Europe always uses human rights for its own benefit.
Russia’s presidential press secretary said, “Europe, considering human rights as a flexible object, does not raise its voice whenever it is against its interest to raise its voice on human rights.”

Dmitry Sergeyevich Peskov said that Western countries had been ignoring the shelling of Donbas for years before the Russian attack. “At that time, no special military operation was being conducted there,” Peskov added.
Peskov said that young men, women, and children were killed during the attacks by Ukraine in Donbas. “Rows of children’s graves lined up while the West turned a blind eye,” the Russian presidential press secretary maintained.
Regarding the bias of the West, the Russian presidential press secretary said, “We have not heard a single word of condemnation from Europe regarding the shelling of Donbas. Now Europe is talking about human rights.”
