The unofficial and unconfirmed results of the National Assembly are being received by the Election Commission of Pakistan. So far results of 255 seats out of 265 constituencies of the National Assembly are received.
According to sources, results from 255 out of 265 constituencies of the National Assembly have been received, the results of 1 constituency have been withheld, and results from 9 constituencies are pending.
The number of successful independent candidates in the National Assembly has reached 100, with the PML-N securing 73 seats so far, and 54 candidates of the PPP being successful.
17 candidates of the MQM have also made it to the National Assembly, while three members each from the PML-Q and the JUI have reached the National Assembly, and two candidates of the PPP have won the elections.
MQM, BNP, and PML-Zia each have secured one seat in the National Assembly.
On the other hand, Muhammad Khan Achakzai, the leader of the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP), has issued a sincere invitation letter to Barrister Gohar and other independent candidates, urging them to align with the party’s vision for national leadership.
Addressing the media in Quetta, Achakzai emphasized the importance of adherence to democratic principles and constitutional supremacy for PKMAP. He highlighted the fundamental importance of upholding the basic right of “one man, one vote” in Pakistan and reiterated the party’s commitment to steadfastness for democratic norms.
Expressing disappointment with the recent election results, Achakzai lamented the interference and irregularities in the electoral process.
Achakzai expressed concern about apparent rigging in the election results, particularly in Balochistan, stating that individuals have been elected who were not chosen by the people.
