ISLAMABAD: Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing on Friday said that the coronavirus upheaval would not halt the economic cooperation between China and Pakistan.
Yao Jing addressing a seminar in Islamabad said that China gratified to the Pakistani government and the citizens of Pakistan for showing reliability in our hard time which paved Chinese to strength and more optimizes to fight against the diseases.
He said more than the six-years successful implementation of CPEC plan under the concept of Belt and Road Initiative, added it has now recognized that CPEC and other corridors under BRI are projects of international cooperation, where more than 125 countries joined these projects.
The Chinese envoy said Belt and Road Initiative has given reliable and tangible profits to the beneficiary’s countries and CPEC is one of its successful examples.
He told CPEC has provided new focus and new opportunities on the economic front for Pakistan and China.
