KARACHI: New foreign currency rates have been released in Pakistan’s open market. According to the rates updated at 10:45 am on September 7, 2026, the US dollar was quoted at Rs278 for buying and Rs278.50 for selling.
In the open market, the British pound was available at Rs375.70 for buying and Rs378.65 for selling, while the euro was quoted at Rs322.48 for buying and Rs325.46 for selling.
The Saudi riyal was quoted at Rs74.05 for buying and Rs74.70 for selling, while the UAE dirham was available at Rs75.75 for buying and Rs76.58 for selling.
The Australian dollar was quoted at Rs199.05 for buying and Rs202.47 for selling, while the Canadian dollar stood at Rs198.82 for buying and Rs204.81 for selling. The Chinese yuan was quoted at Rs38.27 for buying and Rs38.99 for selling.
The Japanese yen was quoted at Rs1.7339 for buying and Rs1.8337 for selling.
Interbank Market Rates
In the interbank market, the US dollar was quoted at Rs277.35 for bank buying and Rs277.85 for bank selling.
The euro was quoted at Rs321.95 for buying and Rs322.53 for selling, while the British pound stood at Rs374.63 for buying and Rs375.31 for selling. The Saudi riyal was quoted at Rs73.85 for buying and Rs73.99 for selling, while the Japanese yen stood at Rs1.7767 for buying and Rs1.7799 for selling.
In the interbank market, the Australian dollar was quoted at Rs199.76 for buying and Rs200.12 for selling, while the Canadian dollar stood at Rs200.41 for buying and Rs200.77 for selling. The Chinese yuan was quoted at Rs41.32 for buying and Rs41.40 for selling.
The Swiss franc was quoted at Rs342.07 for buying and Rs342.69 for selling, while the Singapore dollar stood at Rs218.77 for buying and Rs219.17 for selling. The Swedish krona was quoted at Rs28.96 for buying and Rs29.01 for selling, while the Thai baht stood at Rs8.41 for buying and Rs8.44 for selling.
