Dollar Nears Rs278; Latest Open Market and Interbank Rates Released

KARACHI: Fresh rates for the US dollar and other major foreign currencies have been released in Pakistan’s currency market. In the open market, the US dollar is being sold at Rs278.10, while the British pound is selling at Rs372.73 and the euro at Rs319.10. In the interbank market, the dollar is being sold at Rs277.50.

According to the latest forex rates, the US dollar is being bought at Rs277.90 and sold at Rs278.10 in the open market.

The British pound is being bought at Rs366.98 and sold at Rs372.73, while the euro is being bought at Rs312.48 and sold at Rs319.10.

The Saudi riyal is being bought at Rs74.05 and sold at Rs74.60, while the UAE dirham is being bought at Rs75.75 and sold at Rs76.60.

The Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs193.93 and sold at Rs199.25, while the Australian dollar is being bought at Rs192.22 and sold at Rs198.05.

The Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs38.30 and sold at Rs38.92, while the Japanese yen is being bought at Rs1.7342 and sold at Rs1.8339.

Interbank Market Rates
In the interbank market, the US dollar has a bank buying rate of Rs277.00 and a bank selling rate of Rs277.50.

The euro is being bought at Rs311.72 and sold at Rs312.29, while the British pound is being bought at Rs365.94 and sold at Rs366.60.

The Saudi riyal is being bought at Rs73.74 and sold at Rs73.87, while the Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs194.91 and sold at Rs195.26.

The Australian dollar is being bought at Rs192.12 and sold at Rs192.47, while the Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs41.31 and sold at Rs41.39.

The Swiss franc is being quoted at Rs334.00 for buying and Rs334.61 for selling. The Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs216.50 and sold at Rs216.89, while the Hong Kong dollar is being bought at Rs35.30 and sold at Rs35.37.
