As we know Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez are officially divorced now.
As per Tribune, the 7 Rings singer has to pay $1.25 million to ex-husband as part of their divorce proceedings. They separated in early 2023.
Court documents obtained by PEOPLE revealed that Grande would pay Gomez a one-time settlement of $1,250,000. Gomez, on the other hand, would not receive spousal support, and his payment would be tax-free and delivered upfront.
Additionally, as part of the agreement, the ex-husband of Grande would receive half of the net proceeds from the sale of their former Los Angeles home and Grande would also cover up to $25,000 of his attorney fees.
This settlement followed Grande’s filing for divorce in September 2023, to which Gomez immediately responded. While the date of the ex-couple’s separation was listed as February 20, 2023, the couple’s split was first reported in July 2023.
Due to the prenuptial agreement and no children or complex legal issues, the divorce proceedings were brief and quick.
The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Grande’s Montecito, California home on May 15, 2021. The singer filed for divorce from her ex-husband who is a real estate agent in September 2023.
The former couple had agreed to the terms of the settlement back in October 2023 but were waiting for a judge to sign it off.
