Did Indian drama just copy a scene from Humsafar?

Indian television drama ‘Badde Achey Lagtey 2’ has just copied the iconic scene from the Pakistani drama ‘Humsafar’ starring Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan.

Recently, a clip from the Indian serial is making rounds on social media as netizens have caught an uncanny resemblance in the script, dialogue, and direction of the play from 2011’s Pakistani drama ‘Humsafar’.

Many social media users showed their displeasure and said that India has the habit of copying every content and it cannot be changed. This is not the first time the neighbouring country has copied Pakistani content.

Even in Bollywood, plagiarism in India is not new for copying Pakistani content, without even giving credit. An Indian singer Dhuvani Bhanushali, who had released her latest song ‘Mehendi’ was accused of plagiarising the song sung by Pakistani legendary singer Alamgir.

The song already has more than 20 million views just within two days of its release. Interestingly, the music of the Indian song is quite similar to the Pakistani iconic song ‘Gagar’.
