Fans of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have some exciting news as the Kartik Aaryan-starrer is preparing for its OTT debut. Following a successful theatrical run, the film is set to make its way to Netflix India, with the official release announcement made via a fun and engaging video featuring Aaryan himself.
In a quirky Instagram clip, the actor playfully approaches the camera before being startled, keeping fans intrigued. The video caption teased the upcoming release with the words: “TUDUM: @kartikaaryan has an X-mas surprise for you! Coming soon.” The film was initially scheduled to premiere on December 27, 2024.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 features a star-studded ensemble cast, including Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri. This film continues the legacy of its predecessors, blending comedy with suspense, and has earned an impressive INR 400 crore at the domestic box office despite receiving mixed reviews.
Although it performed well, the film faced stiff competition from Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again during its release, which impacted its box office performance. Bazmee suggested that a staggered release for both films, instead of competing during the Diwali festive period, could have boosted collections for each.
Despite the anticipation, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will not be available on Netflix today, December 27, 2024. The film is now confirmed to be released on Netflix tomorrow, December 28, 2024. Fans can look forward to enjoying the horror-comedy from the comfort of their homes starting tomorrow, as confirmed by Netflix India via their social media channels.
